This bag does the job really well and it's probably great for most situations. However, I was using it mostly with my 5-string bass and the fit was very tight. The zip was in line swith the end pin of the bass, which eventually damaged the zip. This is a great bag, but make sure that your end pin does not compromise the zip on the bag.

Excellent case with very thick padding, lots of handles and compartments for accessories. Also has a bow sleeve and compartment.

Quality bass bag

I use this bag for my main gig bass, it has been all over the world with me, it is really well made and protective.
Lots of storage pockets, and super quality zips.
If you need a quality bag look no further.

Sehr guter Kompromiss

Ich brauchte eine gut gepolsterte Kontrabasstasche für den täglichen Einsatz unter widrigen Umständen (Straßenmusik, Transport per U-Bahn etc.) und die dem Kontrabass beigelegte Tasche hat es absolut nicht geschafft: zu dünn, kaum Polster, zu wenige Griffe.

Dieses Model hingegen erfüllt meine Erwartungen bei einem gleichzeitig relativ günstigen Preis. Bis auf ein paar kosmetische Fehler in den Nähten ist sie gut verarbeitet.

Sie hat genug Polster um gelegentlichen Tritten oder Stößen (Treppen etc) standzuhalten, ist dabei nicht zu sperrig oder schwer. Die vielen Griffe erleichternt das Heben und Tragen und waren ein entscheidendes Kriterium beim Kauf. Sehr wichtig vor allem der Griff direkt vorne über dem Griffbrett. Seitliche Griffe an beiden Seiten sind mehr als nur ein Luxus und der Griff oben beim Saitenhalter wird gelegentlich beim Einpacken ins Auto benutzt. Sehr gut.

Weiterhin lobenswert der dicke Reissverschluss (dicke Zähne), der ein schnelles Ein- und Auspacken überhaupt erst ermöglicht.

Zum Schluss die Rucksackfunktion: man kann den Kontrabass problemlos auf dem Rücken tragen, nichts scheuert oder schwankt übermäßig. Stabil und schont die Hände.

Für den täglichen Gebrauch empfehlenswert.
