Nopea asentaa ja kestävä rakenne. Erittäin pienen koonsa ansiosta helppo sijoitella vanteeseen. Soundi selkeä ja erotteleva, ei valittamista. Tosin säätövaraa voisi olla enemmänkin. Rakenteen yksinkertaisuuden huomioonottaen ihan riittävästi kuitenkin.

Hintaansa nähden erinomainen dynaaminen rumpumikki, toimii parhaiten tomien mikityksessä. Virvelinkin kanssa ihan ok, tosin itse suosin SM57:aa. Tämän osaa kuka vain laittaa paikoilleen. =)

Sturdy workhorse

I replaced my E604:s with these and have not regretted a day. The frequency response seems wider and allows more flexible sound shaping by equalization, which has turned out useful when recording. The sound seems to have a bit more punch as well. I use these for toms and snare on stage and studio. Some engineers seem to prefer E604 for toms, and I understand that because they sound more like the traditional reference tom mic Sennheiser MD421. I however prefer the slightly more modern approach, neutral and open sound provided by E904. It's like a choice between apples and oranges, really.

I purchased four of these in 2013 when I decided to buy myself a touring mic package along with two Se1A's for overheads, a sennheiser e901 for kick and a beyerdynamic mc930 for hi hats.

Using the E904s for Snare and three Toms gave me just what I wanted. They captured the tone of the rock Kit perfectly in every circumstance, I have since used them in all types of genres when I'm mixing and really couldn't fault them.

Thankfully working with good Drummers these mics have virtually have no sign of wear or tear and the clamps have been though hundreds of gigs since and have not let me down yet. Definitely a great mic.

compact, easy to install and sound great on floor toms

We use it for Floor Toms. the mic is easy to attach on almost any kind of drums. Never had any issue with it.
Due it's compactness it is also pretty easy to integrate in in a live setup, without interfering with cymbals who might be just above.
Sound: it has more or less the same sound as the E604, but this one has better respons in the lower frequencies. (drawback is that it also picks up your Kick Drums - but that's were gates are designed for :-) )
The only (minor) drawback is that the bag delivered with it barely fits the mic. (at least if you don't want to remove the holder every time.)
