I have bought 5 of these trusses and use them as a single rail to hang some drape and lights. I wanted the 1m ones for flexibility building different sizes.

The trusses appearance is amazing, made from painted black light and rigid steel, easy to carry and give you piece of mind having them loaded with accessories. When trusses have been bolted together they feel like a single piece, no distortion, no twisting and no bending.

On a negative side I can say that assembly and dismantling of these trusses is very time consuming due to bolting and lock nuts. Also you need to carry additional tools and every time you dismantle make sure not to loose any nuts or washers. Painting job is not very good when you look closely, lot of debris under the paint and it easily scratches.

I was already thinking of upgrading my truss design to more complex frames but it seems that accessories for these trusses are very limited. I have to halt my imagination of building some big and nice structures with these trusses.

The bolts supplied to hang accessories have a square piece under the head which makes it easy to have the bolt in place while screwing the nut. Unfortunately the square piece is so high that the nut will tighten with it instead of the hanging fixture, thus ending with your lights swiveling around and not secure. You will have to change the bolts or get some big washers to do the trick.

Beside the negative things mentioned these trusses do well what I bought them for, so I cannot complain. I suggest them for simple trussing on low budget.

Used to extend the LB-3 Set

Worked perfectly to turn the 3M span of the LB-3 set into a 4M span. Came with all the fittings required. Doesn't seem to have negatively impacted on anything

Great addition

I purchased two of these to expand my 3m setup. At the time I was't sure if I was going to far with the length of the bands back truss. After setting it all up for the first time last month I am glad I got the extra! The truss fits together easy and it is extremely light but strong. I'm almost tempted to buy the corner pieces now and make a full truss box around the stage as it take such little time to setup. Black truss looks cool too! Anything corporate they want black, it looks clean, professional and stylish. During the gig in low light it hides away nicely and makes the lights look like they are hovering.

the best truss for little applications, i use not only as a deco truss, but a support and decorative truss. i like them so much, and it is easy to install them with same model.
