Halpaa ja hauskaa monivärivaloa, jos spektri ei haittaa

Hintaisekseen oikein mukava "viihde"valaisin, jossa pattereilla varustettu kaukosäädin mukana. Valokiilan muoto noudattaa perinteistä rakennustyömaavalaisimen henkeä, kuten valaisimen ulkomuodostakin voi jo päätellä.

Valkoista valoväriähän näistä halvoista Stairvillen LED Flood Lighteista on turha olettaa saavansa, tuppaavat aina olemaan "valkoisina" pikemminkin sinertävän spektrisiä ja melko kaukana mistään jota voisi luokitella valkoiseksi.

Mukana tulevalla kaukosäätimellä valittavissa mm. valoväri + valon voimakkuus ja erilaisia valo-ohjelmia. Valovoimakkuuden säätöjä on ikävä kyllä vain muutama pykälä ja ero ei ole kovinkaan suuri.

Suosittelisin tämän ja muiden Stairvillen vastaavien LED-floodvalojen kanssa esim. valkoista diffuusio/frost-kalvoa pehmentämään valoa, esim. "LEE Colour Filter 216 Wh.Diffusion" (tuotenro 167952), jolla saa huomattavasti siloteltua valaisimen ulosantia.

Vaikka DMX-ohjausta ei näissä olekaan, RGB-värisyklaus, värin valinta + muut toimintamoodit luovat näistä vekottimista mainion lisän jos jonkinlaiseen simppeliin tunnelmanluontiin ilman erikoisosaamisen tarvetta tai sen suurempaa investointia.

This is a surprisingly well designed and constructed floodlight. It usually seems to rain just when you don't want it, but with this level of water protection the priority can be covering up the amps! The continuously variable colour mix is excellent and can be left set to any preference (or left changing) and there is no requirement for external control (DMX) when using the IR remote unit provided. The light output seems about equivalent to 120W of filament lamp power, but cooler and much lower energy of course. Not massive, but seriously useful and controllable light output. I like the fact that the memory keeps the previous setting for colour even when disconnected from the supply. My only criticism is that if used in dimmed mode there is some noticeable flicker, but I never use it dimmed! The biggest plus is the very wide light dispersion angle - a feature which I truly appreciate!

Impressive for this price

These lights are well built and robust, look good and have an excellent quality of light output. The remote is easy to use and gives a lot of functionality. The only thing that made me nervous was the remote sensor wire on the back of the light looks a bit vulnerable, but we taped it to the body with no problem.We are very impressed with this product.

IR Kabel viel zu kurz

Habe 5 davon bei mir im Garten rund ums Grundstück in den Büschen und Bäumen zur indirekten Beleuchtung. Lichtausbeute finde ich super und zusammen mit IP für den Preis echt einwandfrei. Klar, rot ist wie immer dunkler als die anderen Farben, aber das liegt halt an der Farbe an sich...
Was mich stört ist das viel zu kurz geratene IR Kabel. Das dürfte maximal 40cm lang sein. Damit muss man sich mit der Fernbedienung direkt davor stellen und den Sensor dann auch noch in die richtige Richtung drehen. Total unnötig.

Habe das Problem wie folgt gelöst: Habe ein dreiadriges Kabel durch den ganzen Garten gelegt, vorbei an den 5 Floods, den IR Sensor abgepezt und das IR Kabel mit diesem dreiadrigen Kabel verbunden. Am Ende des Kabels habe ich einen der IR Sensoren angebracht und dieses ans Haus gelegt. Jetzt kann ich vom Haus aus mit der Fernbedienung alle gleichzeitig steuern. Nachteil: Alle funktionieren nur im gleichen Modus/Farbe. Dem habe ich allerdings Abhilfe geschaffen indem ich alle an eine Switchbox gehängt habe, so dass ich sie einzeln an- und ausschalten, und so auch die Farben einzeln einstellen kann.

Mit der Switchbox muss man allerdings aufpassen: Selbst eien LED geeignete funktioniert nicht immer 100% einwandfrei...

Anderes Thema noch: Man sollte drauf achten, dass man ein Gerät bekommt, welches nach dem Aus- und Wiedereinschalten den Modus fortführt in dem es vor dem Abschalten war. Davon stehe nichts in der Gebrauchsanleitung oder sonst so, also weiss ich nicht, ob es mal so und mal so ist... Eines meiner 5 Geräte hat das nicht gemacht. Habe ich aber problemlos zurückschicken können und ausgetauscht bekommen.
