I was quite skeptical about the quality of the instruments in this price range, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Both sound and quality of the instrument are solid, tuning pegs are nice and comfortable to use. It is sometimes a bit hard to play quietly, but loud sound is not a problem for this violin. Probably the biggest advantage is the cold resistance: during the winter time I had to carry the instrument in -25, and I was afraid that it would take forever to tune it after that, but the violin took the cold very well, and tuning didn't take longer than usual!

I use it mostly for practicing and playing some bar gigs, and it does its job.

The only serious disadvantage is the original strings, I had to change them on the next day after I got the violin.
