Great affordable rack.. But get the live version

Thon racks are well made, fit beautifully and give good quality for the cost. I have gotten used to them not being black and it does not bother me anymore. But... get the live version of these double door rack cases. And add the rear rail in needed. I also added vent panels to the rear when I have the patch panel on the front. And yes, please always install a patch panel, always.

Excellent 4U Rack

I've been wanting to own one of these 19" racks for a long time.

It's made of good quality materials - (thick wooden sides supported by a sturdy metal frame with hard wearing rounded corners, 2 removable door panels (front and rear) secured with butterfly locks which can also be locked and secured by inserting padlocks (not included) in the available clasps, 2 practical spring-loaded lateral handles, which make it easier to carry around and aluminium rails on the inside.

The overall design is modern and clean and it looks robust enough to protect the electronic racks inside.

My verdict: I would definitely recommend this rack to anyone interested in purchasing and owning such a rack storage unit. Moreover, it looks both great and professional in the studio!

In my opinion, average

The quality is good, but far from excellence. Latches are decent but I noticed a non perfect close after some use. It will defenitely protect the gear put inside, but my suggestion is to spend a little more and buy the better version with butterfly latches, it worth the investment.

Nice rack

I use in the studio mostly . I don't travel with it as much.
It was easy to install, looks good and seems sturdy enough.
