Excellent mouthpiece

I'm only a beginner on the sax and started with a Yamaha 4C. It's a fine mouthpiece but I hate the ligature. So when I decided to try out an Optimum ligature, I splurged and got the matching mouthpiece too. I'm certainly glad I did. When switching between the two, I notice how notes often sound a little buzzy on the 4C, a fault the Vandoren makes it easier to avoid. I'm sure a more competent player would get more out of it, but I found it a good investment even for a beginner (just make sure you get that excellent ligature too!)

Very good mouthpiece - easy to blow, clear notes and consistent tone. Good with Van Doran reeds sizes 2 or 2and a half.

Ya tenía la misma boquilla para mi saxo alto y estoy muy contento, así que sin dudarlo he comprado ésta para mi nuevo saxo tenor. Una opción muy recomendable por su relación calidad / precio para amateurs que, como yo, empezamos en éste mundo del Saxofón.

Ich habe das Teil schon seit fast 2,5 Jahren. Bespielt wurde es eigentlich erst im letzten Monat. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit stank etwas an meinem Saxophon und ich konnte zu Anfang nicht orten bis ich herausfand dass es das MPC ist. Ja es wurde ständig gereinigt. Nach anfänglicher vollster Zufriedenheit und zwischendurch Übelkeitsanfällen ging es nun in den Service und muss einem anderen MPC aus einem anderen Werkstoff weichen.
