One of my better mouthpieces (for the YAS62)

This is a good mouthpiece that can be used for any genre of music, not just classical. Compared to the Selmer S80, I would say the tone is a little darker and the response, whilst good, is not as amazing as the Selmer. Much depends on the reeds you use but I tend to reserve this for use with my Yamaha YAS62 which tempers it's brighter tone, not so much with my Sig Custom RAW, which is almost 'Tenor in Alto clothing' (it already has a darker tone).

Great upgrade for the Alto Venova (YVS-120)

In comparison with the original mouthpiece, this one enables you to reach the highest and lowest notes super easily even with a softer blow. Depending on the reed used, it will take you places that you could never go with the original MP. The only problem was, that I had to carefully sand the bore on the deep end (which was not that easy without proper tooling) as it is slightly conical and doesn't slide all the way on the Venova tube, even when removing the upper gasket.

Spiele cool Jazz und Jazzballaden. Daher ist eine leichte Ansprache für mich wichtig. Dieses Mundstück spricht extrem leicht an, habe noch keines gespielt was leichter ging. Spielt so zu sagen von selbst, ein kleiner Luftstoß und das Horn vibriert. Auch die tiefen Töne - super! Klangfarbe eher dunkel, passt gut zu Legere Blättern, ohne Knistern und Rasseln. Benutze die Selmer Blattschraube. Spielt in einer Liga mit AL3 und S80. Es ist etwas offener als das AL3 und etwas fokussierter als das S80, aber nicht so fokussiert wie das Concept. Bending ist auch möglich. Der Luftstrom steht gut für schnelle Ansprache bei schnellem Spiel. Man kann von sehr leise bis relativ laut spielen. Durch die extrem leichte Ansprache - langes und stressfreies Spielen.
