A fine, sturdy stand

Right now I'm using this stand for a 18" crash. It's very easy to handle overall.. All the parts seem to be high-quality; nothing feels flimsy or cheap-made.
The only negative thing I have to say is that it lacks counter weight. Right now I've got my ride connected to my bass drum tom-holder with a small boom arm, and I want to keep my 18" crash above the ride. That means:
1. I need to have my boom pretty far extended so that the cymbal is close enough for me to hit it -- if I want the boom to be linear with one of the stand's legs (you know, the most stabile way to put things on stands).
OR
2. I put the stand's legs closer to my bass drum side, keep the boom a bit shorter, but then the boom is just between two legs of the stand. If you imagine it by looking it from above, it's the least stabile option you can have.

So now the stand/boom shakes a bit when I hit it. A counter weight would fix the problem.

TLDR: Great stand if you don't extend the boom all the way. 94% pleased.

Täydet viisi tähteä joka osa-alueella. Minulla on useita Yamaha CS-865 telineitä erikokoisille ja painoisille symbaaleille. Telini on erittäin luotettava ja toimiva kaikissa olosuhteissa. Portaaton symbaalin kaltevuuden säätö on suorastaan nerokaasti toteutettu. Teline on yksi Yamahan ja rumpumaailman lippulaivoista!

Totally worth it.
The Yamaha CS 865 has a weight of 5.00Kgs and is very heavy in very good quality.
I have a 18"Crash on it with a Yamaha CSAT-924ABP Multi Clamp with an Yamaha CH 755 (the long cymbal arm) which hold a 20"Ride.
Everything is on place nothing bad to say about the cymbal boom stand.
