Beatiful Alto recorder

Does what it's supposed to. The instrument is in tune and the sound is bright. The sound is sharper than in wooden instruments, but that is to be expected.

On a more personal note, the instrument is very pretty to look at. From a quick glance it very much looks like a wooden instrument with white rings. I wish Yamaha would do this for the whole series (The brown tenor is quite horrible to look at.)

Good for practice

An ideal instrument for practising, especially exercises on articulation. Not everything speaks nicely though. Some intonation problems on alternative fingerings. Very good quality and nice finish.

I bought this for my daughter. The quality is very good, as is the sound. Definitively a better choice over a cheap wood flute.
