Je cherchais une solution pour installer un gong de 38pouce et un de 32. Cette solution cumulé au stand Meinl est idéal.
Montage facile, stable et solide.
Un vrai plaisir de jouer mes gongs sur cette structure.

Great addition to the stand to allow a second gong to be held securely

I would suggest this stand (as a whole) is better suited in a location where it doesn’t need to be altered as it is awkward to set up by one person. The hangman stand would be better suited for ‘road’ use. The connectors and locking mechanisms are solid but could be improved but that would probably increase the cost. The base is incredibly sturdy although the upper tier when fully extended and holding a 32 inch gong in my experience does tend to creak a little. This is partly due to the sleeve design of the legs which is where in my view improvements could be made. The actual hangars on the top bar and the middle extension are solid.
Overall would highly recommend for holding gongs. At present I have the lower section holding a Zildjian 40 inch wind gong with the upper tier hanging a Paiste 32 sound creation. Product information provided by Meinl claims the the top section would hold a 38 inch gong but I haven’t been able to confirm this.

Very easy to mount and very sturdy and stable. This makes hosting 2 large gongs a doddle! Highly recommend! The stand is the sturdiest stand I own, more stable than the other meinl stands I own. Highly recommend.

Ginge besser, aber ist nötig

Sinnvolle Ergänzung, damit man zwei Gongs hängen kann.
Einbau zunächst etwas schwierig, man muss erst mal verstehen wie. Schade fand ich, dass man nicht darauf geachtet hat, die Schweißnaht der Vierkantstange nach hinten zeigen zu lassen. Sie ist glatt überlackiert und aus der Ferne sieht man es nicht. Nah schon und ist unnötig, hätte man einfach um 90° drehen können. Auch stört das Meinl-Logo aus Metall, das mittig platziert ist und über die Stange hinausragt. Behindert etwas beim Spielen und man muss es beim Schwingen des Gong mit einberechnen. FÜr die obere Stange meinetwegen, für die Mitte: nein.
Gab leider keine Alternative zu dieser Querstange.
