Best sounding cabinet for distorted bass
KragroWargkomn 20.10.2020
Great sound, exactly what I need for my sound.
If you play through an overdriven amplifier and the 410 speakers sound too soft, but there may be a risk of using 12-inch guitar speakers, 212av is the best choice.

I don't use it as a single speaker, if you want to use with 5-string bass with low B, you can feel the lack of subbass.

I use it together with the ampeg svt 410hlf, they fit perfectly on each other.

410hlf takes care of the lower frequencies.

One star down - because cabinet is only in 4ohm version and is hard to use it with 8ohm 4x10 or 1x15 cabinet without serial-paraller box on most of bass amps.
Also black-grill version is not available.

Note : I playing through a 2-ohm amplifier, using two 4-ohm cabinets parallel on 4ohm amp can blow up your amplifier.

I very like this cabinet with the treble horn and the eminence speakers . bought it in combination with the 4VB ampeg amplifier . At first i thought using my gibson E335 on it would muffle and bass the sound, but quite the contrary it shines, the basses are crisp and stable and it makes the upper edges a bit warmer , but no loss in dynamics and subtility in tone .

Great sound

Definitely one of the best sounding cabinets currently available. It brings out the best possible sound of the amp. So far I have tried this cabinet with various Ampeg heads but it is a matched pair especially with the V4B. With the V4B it is loud enough for rehearsals or small-medium sized gigs. Easy to move due to the large side handles and very good build quality.

Le son Ampeg "compacte"
Orgavibes 20.08.2019
