Leider ist mir beim Saitenaufziehen die A-Saite
gerissen, bevor sie den Ton A auf dem Tenorbanjo
erreicht hatte, Ich benutzte ein Korg Stimmgerät.
Die neue Saite riss beim Aufziehen wenige Millimeter hinter der Schlaufe am Saitenhalter( Clumshell).
Der Klang der übrigen Saiten ist recht ordentlich.
Ich hoffe, dass nicht jedesmal beim Saitentausch die dünnste Saite reisst! Es wäre hilfreich, wenn ich
von Deering einzelne A-Saiten bestellen könnte- dann
könnte ich herausfinden, ob es sich bei diesem Tausch nur um ein einmaliges Erlebnis handelte.
Bisher hatte ich immer Saiten von Pyramid verwendet.
Mit diesen hatte ich beim Aufziehen keine
Probleme. Es ist jedenfalls nie eine A-Saite gerissen.
