I’m still working on reaching higher notes but it might be just me progressing on my playing, nothing wrong with the piece itself…I love the sound it produces pared out with my FH900J, nice buttery traditional flugelhorn sound as expected. Very happy with the purchase

Cette embouchure donne (avec mon bugle yamaha 631G) un son feutré et profond caractéristique du bugle.
Je l'ai comparée à la 4FL et à la 3BFL mais c'est la 3FL que j'ai retenue. Le son est quasiment le même que la 4FL mais il me semble qu'il est un peu plus profond et sombre encore.
Cette embouchure demande un peu plus de travail dans les aigus qu'une yamaha 16F4 par exemple et elle est plus fatigante.
Il va falloir un peu de pratique pour acquérir l'endurance nécessaire mais le son est tellement beau et doux que ça en vaut la peine.

Wer den warmen und weichen Hornklang will, kommt wohl am DW 3 Fl (oder 2/4 Fl) nicht vorbei. Habe mich für das 3 Fl entschieden, weil der Innenranddurchmesser mir am angenehmsten vorkam. Das Mundstück ist nicht besonders laut im Vergleich zu einem Yammie 14 F4 und die Höhe ist wirklich anstrengender, aber das Horn bekommt nochmal einen dunkleren Sound mit viel Tiefe darin und klingt schön lyrisch, wie man es ja oft haben will. Für fetzigere Sachen nehm ich dann das 14 F4.
