Very Useful!
Fotis Romi 21.11.2017
Well worth the money if you sing and play live. You wont need it if you play fingerstle and don't use a slide often. Very useful if your picks fly off on occasion and you like a bit of slide too! I bought this to be able to play Shine On you Crazy Diamond in its entirety, slide solo at the end included. It works a treat. Just grab the slide when you need it and quickly pop it back on the holder to change back to normal playing. Fantastic, love it. Glow in the dark is a nice extra if you are playing under low lighting. You can pretend it's part of your Pink Floyd stage effects!!

Handy accessory for the specific player
Karl_DxDx 01.02.2021
I bought this as a gift for my band's frontman. He sings and plays guitar, sometimes he has slide parts as well. Before he had this holder, he was using the good-old DIY solution: a piece of tape on the mic stand! :D It worked fine for holding his picks, but he had to keep the slide either in his pocket or on the corner of his pedalboard, which wasn't very convenient. This 2-in-1 solution is perfect for him, now he can change between pick and slide parts in songs without getting distracted.

A
Quality Dunlop pick holder + flimsy slide holder
Anonymous 01.08.2015
I bought this product as I lost my old dunlop pick holder. As expected it is a tight, gripping fit on my mic stand and hangs onto a number of picks no problem! No more scrambling about in my pocket or on a dark stage after dropping a pick or worrying about losing one during an energetic set! As my latest band requires the use of a slide in a few songs I opted for the version with a slide holder. This does not feel like the same quality as the pick holder and I would only rate the slide holder a 2/5. It is basically a piece of plastic that slots in to the rubber pick holder, but it feels quite breakable and if you had a heavy steel/blues/lapsteel slide Im not sure this would hold it for too long. For the size of the slide holder I would have preferred a metal holder. If you want a good pick holder you should definitely buy this but maybe the version without the additional slide holder :)

all the little things help
Anonymous 26.01.2015
I got this as I use a slide in a few tunes and was forver putting it down and not seeing where it was as it had no "home2 so to speak. Such a simple little device but so handy. On the rear occasion when a pick goes AWOL, you can soon grab another and the slide is always at hand. You can't beat all the little things that help. Great idea and well used.

Exactly what I needed
Anonymous 15.03.2017
I'm not a guitarist but sometimes I do play guitars for experiment and in that mission, loosing the picks became inevitable. After practicing or recording some experimental stuffs, I always used to loose them. But apparently not anymore. I also decided to use slider, so this comes with a complete package.

On the con side, its seems little vulnerable, but perfect for not a serious guitarist like me, especially to organize the picks and accessories.

MS
Cheap plastic..... again!
Michael S. 639 11.06.2013
So the pick holder as such is just fine, what do you expect from one anyway?

The plastic for the slide holder is some cheap plastic which seems like it could snap at any time. I would just save the 3 euro difference I paid for the dunlop pick holder with slide holder, buy the pick holder without slide holder extension, and then get creative about mounting a slide holder.

They are 100% the same! In the slot where the cheap plastic slide holder goes one could easily put a pencil.... or a small screwdriver.... or whatever really.

Convenient

A very handy place to pop your slide between lead breaks.

Has two different angles depending on which way you insert it into the pick holder.

This is the same excellent pick holder that you Dunlop sell separately.
