Good sound but stiffer than Slinky's
DickPuound 08.09.2021
They sound is very good but are definitely on the stiff side, not as much as a Paradigm but more than Slinky's.
Really nice defined tone, bit more output than Slinky's but it requires a bit more tension and feels stiffer for bending overall.
The sound is more towards a D'Addario NYXL but stiffer bending.
As for durability it's hard to say, I always change strings after 2/3 weeks max, but they seems no different than regular Slinkys.
Regarding the price, they are basically twice as much as Slinky's and in my opinion they are not worth twice. I would much rather stick with Slinkys and change them more often rather than buying a premium set of strings.
Tone and playability will definitely benefit more from newer strings rather than with these ones.

Top quality strings
Anonymous 26.11.2014
I use these strings with my Gibson LP. Mostly use half step down tuning and these feel, sound, bend etc just perfect. Used all kinds of drop tunings and works great. Difference in sound is more noticeable compared to example power slinkys when using cleaner signal path.
I would use a bit lighter similar strings if mostly use standard tuning.

Longer the better
Zeonoid 08.05.2017
Lasts longer then any other strings. If you are recording artist you appreciate getting same wide frequency sound from the strings longer then 10 days... these are the strings even after several months of playing they loose their grip very slowly lovely. Well there are other rivals like Thomastik that serves eqally well.

These Cobalt strings are way more dynamic and clear sounding than the old nickel ones. Also they are easier to bend. Great for rock music.

Not for those who like it light! But tone wise great
John3168 30.09.2014
Heavier gauge than is usual for most players, including me, however you get a very good tone. Slide guitar players will like this one, as will rhythm guitar players; you can feel the extra resistance to your strumming chords, which I like. To get blues bends you are going to have to work harder than usual.

These strings are probably the best strings ive used. Great tonal quality and good comfort and playability. The cobalt coating really makes the difference when plugged in much clearer
