MAX DARK FUN
This is an excellent effect unit as you would expect from Eventide. I had to wait ages for it due to Covid causing chaos for a lot of USA products reaching Europe but it really was worth the wait. The algorithms cover everything you could need and includes Black Hole which is one of my favourites. If you want a portable effect unit for on the go music this is It.

Excellent product
I am a proud owner of a Fractal Audio AX8 and I think the Eventide H9 is the perfect companion for it.
PROS:
1) SOUND - Majestic! The H9 looks and sounds great. It expands your tone horizons to such an extent that will put your creativity to the test.
2) SOFTWARE - Great: The software will allow you to easily explore and tweak all the presets.
3) LOOK - Beautiful: I find the black version very very cool! (it fits perfectly in my black pedalboard)
CONS:
1) KNOBS & BUTTONS - Without the software I would be lost: There are too many parameters to tweak! (but the software is great and you will love it).
2) TUNER: I don't like the tuner. It is a nice to have tool... if you don't have something better (like the good old boss chromatic tuner)

An excellent small multi-effects pedal! Top quality great algorithms, lots of sounds for anyone. I just love the tuner. I use it through a midi controller.
