How do the search engines work?
Because of the huge amount of information on the 250,000 pages in our Cyberstore, there are several different possibilites for you to find the right products in a reasonable time.
If you are not an expert, you might want to use our Online Catalogue to locate the right product group(s).
In addition to that, we'll offer you a state-of-the-art search function that is located on top of the left navigation bar. Depending on the current page you'll see additional search parameters (e.g. to search within a group or filter out products from a certain manufacturer).
As soon as you've entered a search term into the search field, you'll see the results. If there are many results you can refine your search by limiting the results to a certain product group, manufacturer or price range through the links in the right navigation bar. All limitations can also be removed by clicking on the small X-Symbol behind the search criteria on top of the result listing.
Our search engine always lists all products that contain at least one found search word (with a seperator between the items that contain all given search words and the items that only contain some or one of the search words). This is especially useful when our products contain different words with the same meaning but you can also avoid the OR-Method and force and AND-Search by adding a plus symbol before a search (e.g. "guitar +black").
However, if you can't find a product which you're sure that Thomann should carry, please feel free to send us an email to see if we can source it for you.
