B
Amazing for the price!

I'm not a full-time bassist but I needed a nice instrument to compose on and to bring at Jam sessions, etc.

This bass sounds great, very well finished, and seems to be quite sturdy! It is honestly quite impressive for the price.

I have to say that I had to return the first bass I've received (without any question from Thomann) because the black binding on the neck was scratched. The second bass (I kept!) has still some marks by very minor. But can we expect a 100% perfect finish at that price?

I believe the action is a bit high. Most bassists I know have recommended me this instrument saying that "after a few adjustments, it's a killer deal!"

So in short: sounds good, looks amazing, 95% perfect finish. Playability will be top notch after a quick adjustment

A solid Investment

I use this bass to record rock music and electronic music. It is perfect for both.

I lover the variability of the sound you can get, the jazz bass creates a rich sound that is easy to work with.

Good build, excellent neck. This bass should age well. Highly recommended.

Aesthetically it's flawless, looks really good and there's no marks of any kind. It's playable, but needs a bit of setup possibly. No major fixes were needed in my case (action only)
Feels sturdy.

Only complain may be the electronics are kind of wonky, when you turn down the volume of one pickup the other gets some weird boost. It somehow gets louder than both playing together. But nothing major if you don't play with it when playing.

Amazing bass for a cheap price
kose 02.08.2021
As a guitar player, I needed a bass for some demo recording and, since it's not my main instrument, I wanted to stay on a low budget. This sounded to me like a good compromise, so I ordered it right away. I'm really impressed with the instrument: normally I had this "knowledge" that when you order a Squier, then some customization is needed (for example changing the pickups, adjusting the action and so on). In this case instead the instrument was perfect out of the box: very good sound and good playability. Also a positive note on the packaging, which was very robust. Overall highly recommended.
