This is my first acoustic guitar so I don't have a baseline to compare it to.
Playing guitar is a hobby for me, and I'm still learning to play, so this guitar sounds and feels good enough.

It holds the tuning well even after it stays in the case for a longer time.

Visually it looks great overall. Mine had a little black dot under the lacquer on the yellow part but it's a really minor detail, and the dots on the neck (those visible from above, not the ones from the fretboard) look like were inserted in a sloppy manner - the lacquer is cracked around a few of them.

I didn't change the factory strings, although they feel odd to the touch. I'm not sure how to describe it - they feel maybe a bit sticky, like the slides are not very easy on them.

One aspect that I regret not giving more attention to is that there is no strap button in the front of the guitar. There's one only on the back. If you want to add a strap, you have to know it to the neck.

In short, I'm pleased with the sound and the overall quality for the price. However, if I would go back in time, I would by the Fender FA-125CE instead of this.

Pros: sounds good, tunes fine, affordable price
Cons: no relevant ones

G
Great value starter guitar
Gary2162 24.12.2013
We bought this guitar for my son for xmas and i think it is great value for money. I have fenders and a couple of squire electrics but this is the first squire acoustic i have tried.
The overall built quality is good although some of the lower frets have needed dressing as they were quite rough. For someone starting out this may not even be noticeable but as an experienced guitarist its something you pick up on and i have remeadeed this my self.
Again for someone just starting on guitar, especially acoustic this guitar has a nice neck with a lowish action so should not be problem on the fingers.
It was bought as part of the package deal offered including a good quality Thomman gig bag, a selection of picks, a lead and a tuner. I have already suggested to Thomman that as this guitar has a built-in tuner as part of the Fishman pickup system, the supplied tuner is really not required but the package would be better containing a strap, which is the only thing not supplied.
Overal great little starter guitar/package with great service and delivery tracking from Thomman.
Keep up the good work guys totally recommended item

ME
Good guitar for the price
Michael E. 854 23.10.2015
For 110 euro you can't really go wrong I suppose

Features: Full body construction, Onboard pre amp with tuner
Sound: It was some sort of Fishman pre amp on bored and that does give a good sound from it when it's Plugged in. The tuner isn't too bad either but it can be rather inaccurate sometimes (but I think that depends on the battery level left in the guitar) it has 1 jack input which is durable and has withstood having cables ripped from it at high speeds (A little stupid I know but hey it's only my home guitar)
Quality: Solid body and neck although the body does seem very durable and feels quite cheap. The tuning heads creak a lot and can actually be hard to turn sometimes
Overall I feel like it's a good guitar and if it was lost I would eventually buy it aain because it can take a beating.

A great sound, with or without the use of an amp. Easy to tune, great valus for the money. A good entry level guitar. As a result on seeing mine, a work colleague bought one for his daughter. I tend to use this one more than the other acoustics.

e
Very light, nice sounding guitar !
explorerc 03.07.2021
Thanks for fast shipping Thomann ! I bought this guitar with bundle option. It is a nice guitar, very nice pickup system. I am not very good guitar player but I like the sound. Stock strings are nice, but I am sure it would shine more with elixir. It is very light, neck is not very slim but ok to play, built quality is nice. Cheap guitar, still do the job. I would bring it to beach or take on the garden to play, just not be sorry if something happens :) overall nice guitar for beginners !

Built in tuner :)
Anonymous 16.12.2016
The best thing about it is that it has a tuner built in which is fantastic, the tuning keys themselves are a bit cheap so the tuner comes in handy often, it's an inexpensive guitar so you get what you pay for but for someone starting out without much money to spend it's not a bad guitar

Thank you

For a beginner and student like me, I think this guitar was perfect. Budget, sounds good. Feature is good enough. Looks good (in my eyes). I love its sound. I would like to thank Fender Squire for manufacturing such great budget guitars.

Poor quality
Doyley 05.11.2019
Save your money and add 100 to get something better than this guitar it's really not worth it. It plays and feels so cheap, I had 2 fret buzzes and was impossible to play a D chord the machine heads have a cheap feel and I felt like I was turning them and nothing was happening. I'm very dissapointed with the quality of this guitar for a brand name like fender, Ive owend cheaper guitars with no brand name with better quality than this one. Thomann themselves did an outstanding service with delivery.

Absolutelly perfect for the cost
Bobby Sixkiller 01.11.2019
Pros: light, pleasant sound, nice playing, built-in tuner
Cons: not so nice

I was waiting for a another guitar coming from the stock. To spend somehow the time at Thomann shop I tried some of the instruments there. Then I took this guitar from the stand and I was so amazed that I bought this as well. If you don't want to spend a lot of money for home playing and bonfire singing, it is a perfect choice.

This is an AWSOME starter Guitar!
Kell 04.12.2019
Its amazing value and perfect for beginning guitar. I watched 100's of reviews of different types of budget acoustic guitars and it came down to this and a Yamaha one. I choose this one because its basically a Fender Guitar and there was 3 different color options. I was very pleased with the starburst color and glossy effect, the wood is very nice and the guitar itself sounds excellent when strumming, sliding or plucking. I cant recommend this guitar enough. I always get completed on it.
