Great octave fuzz
Great old-skool sounding octave fuzz. For the limited knobs there quite a few sounds to be had, especially when you pair it with other overdrives and when you play the volume knob of your guitar. For the most pronounced octave effect set the boost to zero, us your neck pickup and roll off the volume knob a bit. Or go crazy and set all the knobs to full, put an overdrive pedal after it and (yet again) quite a few sounds to be had with just the controls on your guitar.
I'm not the biggest fan of the fuzz setting (without the octave effect) but the price is worth it just for the ocatvefuzz alone in my opinion. So the fuzz setting is a nice bonus and allright enough.
Only thing you need to keep in mind that it definitely needs it's own power supply since it needs an AC current. So it's not daisy chainable with most pedals. However it does take a battery, which is nice.

Expectation was that this pedal would be very noisy. But is quite! It is possible play clean sound with this pedal than add a bit guitar's volume from clean to overdrive and reach fuzz. Now using it as “overdrive” pedal in fuzze-mode. One surprise - that it has reverse power polarity.

Battery drainer
If you plan to use it with batteries, then stay away from it, this little blue monster will suck the juice out of them fairly quickly (I used to unplug the jacks trying to save something).

Fulltone Octafuzz OF-2
Great unit from Fulltone. Easily captures the Band Of Gypsies tone from Jimi and more. The Fuzz on its own is also great and very usable. Great for thickening up the tone of a Strat. Also dead quiet. Fantastic pedal allround.

I am so glad I invested in this pedal, I was a little hesitant because of the price, but man am I glad I went for it! I have used it on so many recordings in such a short space of time!
I don't really use the octave feature much, but as a fuzz pedal it's unbelievable!

Great authentic effect
Sturdy but small and more pedalboard friendly. Totally distinctive sound of that high octave that Fulltone have captured here perfectly. A must for any Band if Gypsys fan looking to capture that sound.

Great octave and fuzz
I use the octave feature mainly, as also have a fuzz pedal i really like. It's part of my quest to get a Hendrix type tone, and it works very well for that octave sound.
