This is an exceptionally sturdy boom arm, much more solid than I expected. My original intention was to try it with a microphone mount on cymbal stand, but it easily supports a 19" China without worry! My boom stand is now a double boom stand! The brake tilt adjustment makes ANY angle possible. Excellent in every respect. Very highly recommended.
