The Gotoh GE103B-T bridge is a very good replacement bridge for the low-priced and mid-priced guitars with a tune-o-matic bridge.
The obvious advantage is the lack of the retaining wire, with a construction more solid, as retaining wire allows for some rattling and is more fragile during the intonation procedure. Also the Gotoh bridge has longer length travel for individual saddles which helps with intonating a guitar without reversing the saddles.
I replaced a stock tune-o-matic bridge with a retaining wire with this Gotoh, and the difference was noticable: the guitar was easier to intonate and the intonation was very stable since that very moment.
However, the shaft was considerably thinner than the hole in the guitar body, so the standart shafts that came on the guitar had to be used.

Overall the product is very good and helps a lot to improve intonation and deal with some of the problems of standard tune-o-matic bridges with retaining wires.

LB
great bridge for the money

I used this bridge to go on my Harley Benton TE 40 telecaster and it fit perfectly.
The gold colour is nice quality and is keeping up very good (usually gold metal starts to fade really quick)
The bridge is good quality and I can't say a single bad thing about it. Adjusting the intonation is not too hard to do and everything stays in place, nothing makes noises.
It's a well built bridge and a must have upgrade on any budget guitar.
I would definitely recommend this bridge to anyone with a budget guitar with gold hardware who wants to upgrade their bridge.

excellent product

I bought this as a replacement for stock ibanez bridge for semi-hollow which was OK but prone to (slight) buzz.
Also, the gold coloured plating on Ibanez bridge started to tarnish very quickly and plating weared off completely at the edges after only about one month of use.

Gotoh bridge has much smoother saddle travel when intonating, and no buzz at all. As for the gold plating, the time will tell, but I'm sure it will last longer then on the stock bridge.
I reused the old anchors (M8) because I was afraid that I might damage the guitar finish while replacing them.

All in all, noticeable improvement over stock Ibanez MIC bridge.
