Absolutely spot on
A student brought and old guitar to me and asked me if it was possible to repair it.
The machine heads were smashed off on one side and I didn't think it would be viable to repair it but before I made her cry, I thought I'd check out what Thomann have to offer.
I ordered these honestly with not much faith and did not expect them to a) fit and b) work.
I was very very wrong! They actually slotted straight into the guitar without any adjustment at all and all I had to do was take a Braddle and make new holes for the screws. The old ones were covered by the new machine heads so it looks like it's never been changed.
Needless to say, my student was very happy and her mum was also pleased that she didn't need to fork out for a new guitar. I added new strings (Also Harley Benton) and the guitar has been playing like a dream ever since.
I would not hesitate to recommend these machine heads to anyone who asked but maybe next time I will be more confident about fitting them to a "vintage" guitar. Brilliant service from Thomann as always.

Must have for every teacher
Once a year (at least) a student comes to me in tears because the knobs/gears on their machine heads are broken... A family member or pet dropped the instrument, or knocked it off a chair or some other story... Anyway this is a great set of tuners to have lying around so you can quickly solve the problem.
Note: it's possible that installation will require drilling a screw into a new position on the head-stock. This isn't a problem, for most affordable student model guitars.
Of course if you want something more aesthetic, or with a more precise tuning ratio, there are better options out there...

For an inexpensive guitar, you can take.
I ordered it for old budget classical guitar to be repaired. In comparison with the old ones, these keep guitar in tune well, have a soft stroke of the mechanism. One disadvantage is that one hole for twisting did not match well, but this did not cause problems. I liked the product.

Ok for the price, screw snapped
The pegs are transparent, and you can see the metal inside them, which is not very nice. One of the screws actually snapped when I was mounting this tuning head on my guitar, which shows poor quality. Other than that, pretty ok, no more complaints.

Pleasant surprise!
I didn't expect much when ordering those, but they are actually very well-made, smooth and work like a charm!
Better than most stock ones on <400€ guitars!

Perfect for the use
I have put back to work and old classical guitar I have for over 20 years. Old tuners were rusty and not doing the job anymore. These tuners are perfectly fine, and were a fraction of the price of premium brands.
Sure a, expensive guitar might deserve something a little bit better, but for my 20years old, 80¤ guitar these were just perfect

not the first time I try to find some machine heads for restoring a guitar, but those are the first one (on the low price side) that are really good!

Such a great value
I had a problems with my Yamaha classical guitar. Had to change machine head ASAP. In two weeks concert.
Bought these. Now, they are amazing. I want just to say that their quality is amazing. They are still holding the tune and doing what they should even after 4 years of everyday playing.
There were really no flaws about these Harley Benton machine heads.
If you need great classical guitar machine heads, these are the ones you are looking for.

Works fine
This is a fine replacement for any faulty tuners that come on cheap classical guitars. They work perfectly and have a smooth feel to use.
I've had them for four years now and they still work as good as new.
