They are great strings, easy to put on the guitar, they have a good sound quality as well.

Only downside is that new strings need to be tuned several times a day.

I gave this set as a gift to my friend. He liked them but compared to his last set "didn't sound so rich" but still he used them. On the plus side they don't lose the freshness so fast. If you don't want to spend a fortune on strings these may suit your needs.

Very surprising

So I bought these recently and I'll be honest, I really didn't expect much. But the Mrs was giving a guitar to mess about with and maybe learn so I thought they're worth a shot since I figured it's not worth putting expensive strings on if she decides she's not going to play much.

What a pleasant surprise these were! I can't really fault theme. They're bright and clear and comfortable to play. What more do you need? I've only had them on for a few days now so I can't comment on the longevity of them but considering they're a third the price of the strings I use on my acoustic, I'll be grabbing a high tension set for mine when they need changing next.

positieve eerste kennismaking

het is al enige tientalen jaren geleden dat ik met een Spaanse akoestische gitaar heb gespeeld en deze opnieuw voorzien heb van snaren.
omdat deze niet regelmatig bespeeld zal worden gekozen voor een budget coated snarenset en dit was een positieve ervaring.
de omwonden snaren voelen prettig aan, de nylon hadden echt wel even nodig om op de juiste spanning te blijven door ze steeds weer opnieuw te stemmen/oprekken.
klank is moeilijk te beoordelen omdat ik even geen referentie heb. zal wel enige sparkle missen vanwege de coating maar het klinkt aangenaam en speelt ook soepel.
zover ik nu kan beoordelen werkt de caoting ook goed want zie nog geen corrosie of iets dergelijks.

enige minpunt is hoe de snaren verpakt zijn. per 2 in zakje waarvan 1 omwonden en 1 nylon.
als je je eigen manier van opzetten van snaren hebt, welke eerst en welke laatst, dan werkt dit zeer verwarrend en was ook bijna de mist in gegaan bij het besnaren en een snaar op de verkeerde plek gezet.
