Hofners new Tweed H64/VBR Violin Bass Case
I just received my case today.
This new case for the Hofner 500/1 and Cavern is by far much better that I was expecting. Really love the Hofner logo printed on the outside.
Excellent case latch's with one that locks as well as very nice lid hinges.
Super plush black padded interior, also with a covered foam block in the lid for the neck by the head and tailpiece end which really supports and holds the bass great from moving.
Very nice lower neck support w/small storage compartment.
Great looking Tweed covering along with a very nice leather handle w/supports.
Compared to the older style cases Hofner 's were shipped in makes them look cheap and junky by comparison.
This is the only case to store and transport your Hofner in !
And at an unreal great price for such quality.

Great little case
Solid, practical and good looking. Handle is well positioned for comfortable carrying (but not normally a problem with a light violin bass). Hinges are of good quality.

Bought it for my "kit" Höfner and it fit perfect. So glad I spent the extra to get the quality.

Exceeded expectations!
This case really has the feel and essence of the vintage Selmer tweed case, but with superior design. This case is one of the nicest a Hofner bass has ever come in. I would buy this again in a heartbeat! Thomann's customer service is also top notch!

Quality Retro looking case you will love.
Bought to protect my Hofner contemporary bass it has done its job well. The padded interior holds my baby bass snugly and with its tweed look-alike vinyl it combines that great retro look with a practical finish. What more could you want for your Hofner violin bass?

Snug fit and retro appearance.
I love my L H hofner, but a padded bag just didn't seem enough protection. Thus case is a brilliantly snug fit, and the woven effect on the outside gives a retro period effect

Great case for your Hofner
Excellent quality case. Looks fantastic too. I got it as I needed one for my Hofner bass. High quality outer finish and nice handle but the inside, though plush was let down due to lack of space for straps etc. the latches are good quality with one lockable. I feel it just looks so good it’s worth it! There are cheaper cases available but this one looks and feels like the perfect companion for you Hofner violin bass!! Very happy with my new case.

HOFNER H64/VBR TWEED VIOLIN BASS CASE.
Just received my Hofner case and very pleased with it as my Ignition cavern bass fits perfectly. The case seems fairly well made but I was disappointed that the hygrometer wasn't in the lid as clearly shown in the images, although I think its probably more of a gimmick than anything but still, it would have been a nice touch.

Hofnor Violin Bass Case
Compared to my original 1964 Hofnor case, this unit is in a different league; with many instrument protection improvements to its design. It is well constructed, has the usual storage compartment; but support blocks on both the head and bridge areas. It is an all round good quality product, which give good protection to the instrument; and is perfectly balanced when transporting the instrument.
