Very happy with this cajon

This is my first cajon. I was looking for a good cajon for practicing and recording music projects. I used to play a few as well as try a few at a local music store. I chose this cajon based on the audio clips on youtube. I am very pleased with this instrument. Not only does it look beautiful, it also sounds good. Good balance, easy to play. Beautiful subtly audible wooden tone, sweet snare, kick is not heavy, focused. Sounds more like an instrument than a box.
Recorded this cajon also sounds good in a mix with other instruments, with a bass or a classical guitar.

Für die Auswahl des geeigneten Cajons im semi-professionellen Bereich muss man letztendlich einen Händler des Vertrauens aufzusuchen, da die Unterschiede im Detail liegen und im Zuge dieser Rezession kann ich auch nur meine Empfehlung aussprechen zu Thomann zu fahren und alle Cajons durchzuprobieren.

Ohne das Anspielen vor Ort hätte ich dieses Cajon nicht in Erwägung gezogen - aber sobald man es einmal bespielt hat kennt die Begeisterung keine Grenzen mehr.

Die Snare-Spielfläche spricht sehr sensibel an, hiervon ist der "Bass" klar trennbar. Diese zwei Kriterien empfinde ich für ein Cajon wichtig, um differenzierte Schlagmuster spielen zu können.
Sowohl per Hand, mit Brushes oder mit Pedal erreicht man eine hervorragende Klangqualität, die in dieser Preisklasse sonst kaum erreicht wird.
Klar, die gesamte Artisan Edition von Meinl ist hochwertig, aber in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass dieses Produkt für 200¤ zu haben ist, bekommt man mehr für sein Geld als bei allen Cajons der Konkurrenz.

An der Verarbeitung ist nichts auszusetzen: die Schlagfläche aus Limba spielt sich geschmeidig, alle Schrauben sitzen sauber, es gibt abgerundete Ecken und Mulden - alles wie aus einem Guss.

Insgesamt eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
