Great Product

Ok, so I have had this product a while now, I actually purchased a second one because I found it worked so well.

The Capo clamps down perfectly on the strings, there is no buzzing or you don't ever need to readjust it. The product is also quite small and neat, it doesn't get in the way, even on a Soprano Ukulele.

The price, for what you get, is very good, I would advise ukulele players of any level to not waste money with cheaper capos, especially the elastic type, this capo is build to last, it is the only capo a ukulele player will ever need.

Well done Ortega, and well done Thomann.

Match made in ukulele paradise

When I told my mother I bought a capo for my ukulele she asked, "Don't you have capos for your guitars?"

She's right. I do.

And....

The Ortega capo fits the ukulele with an embrace of integrity and familiarity. The smooth finish and durability have proven reliable and while a guitar capo will technically do the job, weight/bulkiness are considerations since the ukulele is considerably lighter, a capo and tuner resting on the headstock waiting for their chance to work, drastically shifts the physical equilibrium of the instrument so I suspect the musician will want subtle and nuanced and lighter.

I'm very satisfied with my Ortega OCAPOUKE-CR

Good solid Capo but it's a little clumsy for live usage

This Capo is ideal for beginners or guitarists who are prone to losing their bits n pieces. Well made with a nice finish but i found it a little heavy on the guitar neck and aesthetically large.
