Solid
Don't be put off by the price, this mallet is THE tool for playing gongs 32" and over! It is heavy and very solid but it is well-balanced and comfortable to hold. The head of the M6 is perfectly constructed and muffles the contact point very well. There is a string attached to the base of the handle, good for hanging but also great for looping over your hand when playing. A very professional tool.

Fantastic quality!
The price is always scary with gong beaters but this one is definitely worth it. I use this on my 82cm gong and it sounds wonderful.
I previously had a much cheaper one that I always thought was fine until I got this gong beater and realised the difference in quality. So much so, I've bought a second one.
Only con, I need a gong beater bag and more gongs to play.

Amazing mallet!
Paiste mallets are so reliably fantastic they are worth the money. This one is perfect for bringing out the fullness of my 38" symphonic gong. It really brings out the whole of its depth and with just the right amount of firmness of strike... thanks Paiste and Thomann!

Paiste beater
Love the whole feel and calculated weight of Paiste beaters. It gives you great confidence when playing with them. Second to none.

Perfect for 34"+ gongs
Absolutely beautiful beater! The head is soft enough to allow you to build swells and dynamics, while the heavier centre of the mallet gives the option to crash when needed.

Its okay
I woud have given more stars for this mallet had I not found the hanging cord a little skimpy meaning it was difficult to get it on and of my not so big hand, I have now removed it.
When playing outside on my deck in the sun the handle (aluminum ) got so hot I could not use it. Fortunately I had some Thomann mallets with wooden handles to use.
