Das Material ist wunderschönes tiefschwarzes Ebenholz, die Verarbeitung ist sorgfältig, und die Klemmvorrichtung aus nichtrostedem Stahl überzeugt.

Allerdings befindet sich unten am Bügel kein Kork, sondern weißes Leder (Kunstleder?), das chemisch riecht. Ich hätte ein wenig Sorgen um meinen Lack, aber möglicherweise sind sie unbegründet.

Die Auflagefläche auf dem Instrument ist flach, 10mm breit und 10cm lang, man hat also eine riesige Kontaktfläche mit der Decke, die diese am Schwingen hindert. Bei meinem Instrument hatte das katastrophale Auswirkungen auf den Klang, die ganze Resonanz ging verloren. Deshalb gibt es nur 2 Punkte für diese Stütze, die ich auch zurücksenden werde.
