For the high notes
trombone tom 14.03.2020
I was recommended this mouthpiece by a fellow trombonist to assist in playing 1st trombone parts in big bands.
It feels lighter in weight than my other mouthpieces but is quite obviously a quality piece of work. It has certainly made my job a little easier playing the high stuff and while you've still got to have the chops to play high, it does seem to be easier and I don't feel as tired at the end of rehearsals. It doesn't have quite the richness of sound to it compared to my 12c or Jiggs mouthpieces. That's not to say it sounds thin, far from it. I was actually complemented on the quality of my sound at a recent rehearsal. I also think it makes my trombone sound more like a trombone, if that makes sense!
Mouthpieces are very subjective and what suits me might not suit you, but if you are a high note player and not sure, I'd say give this one a try.

Gracies,
