I am using this mic on the hi hat. It is pretty good at rejecting what it is not pointed at. Great detailed sound, build quality is very good too.

I bought this mic after watching a comparison video on youtube. The guy was ab-ing them against a Neumann small condenser. I was intrigued.

I use it on acoustic guitar, it does very well. The sound is defined. They feel sturdy. I'm really happy with my purchase.

For the price the quality that you get is very good.

Il encaisse les dbs, il sonne et il est abordable. En tout cas sur caisse claire, tom ou en overhead. Je n'ai pas testé dans une grosse caisse, c'est peut-être pas une bonne idée. Où alors à l'extérieur du fût, côté frappe, histoire de bien chopper l'impacte de la batte (biens s'assurer que la pédale est graissée comme il se doit, ce serait dommage d'enregistrer les grincements de cette dernière).
Mais bon, je l'ai pris pour la caisse claire et avec 2 pad -20 (micro + préamp), il ne sature plus
