Basically the only solution
The product is really good, but it tends to liquefy too much over time.....still...it remains the best solution. All the others do the same, but this one comes with the double product bottle, so you can apply more of the one you need. The small bottle, silicon based solution, coats the inside of the female in order to fill the holes and scratches, the bog bottle acts like a base to retain small water drops and use them as ball bearings

Slide O Mix
Slide O Mix is without doubt the best product on the market for lubricating your slide. It keeps the slide working at its optimum as well as protecting the slide. As a teacher of brass instruments for 25 years I would not use any other product for this job. I recommend this product very highly.

Seems to work
I will need to give this some time but it does appear to work really well. This was suggested to me by the bass trombonist at my band who has been playing for a VERY long time -- it's the best thing he has found.
The small bottle contains a light lube and the larger bottle is a thicker lube. You will also need a small bottle of water which is not included here -- the instructions suggest a spray bottle and I think they sell that seperately. Any bottle of water would do though.
I cleaned off the claggy grease that was on the slide; it moves very smoothly after applying Slide O' Mix. I don't know how long it lasts so how regularly I will need to reapply it.

Good for the price.
Cheap product and good quality. I've been using it quite a lot, and I'm very pleased. The lubricant quality is good lasts enough. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I haven't tried everything possibility on offer, but this is by far the best slide lubricant I have tried. Strongly recommended.
Tip: you will never be able to get your slide running freely unless it is scrupulously clean. Don't ever allow valve oil to drip into any part of the slide, and clean all parts of the slide regularly, *especially* the inner surfaces of the outer slide, with mild detergent and lukewarm water. Slide O Mix does *not* mix with oils.

Bringing life back to an old slide.
I hadn't realised how good my vintage trombone was until I bought Slide O Mix. Having given the slide a good clean and then treated it with Slide O Mix, as per the instructions, it now glides as smoothly as a puppy on ice.
Super fast responsiveness from the slide (if not the player).
This is definitely something to keep in your gig bag, and use before every practice / rehearsal. For best results give the slide a good clean and full treatment before a performance. A little spray of water adds the final piece for a dragless slide.
Worth every penny.

A great product
I had been playing the trombone for 18 months or so before I invested in this stuff (before I was using a mosturiser cakked Pons Cold Cream). I was completely blown away by how well this stuff lubricates the slide. If I used enough of it on a trombone with a bad slide it would relsove a lot of the sliding problems. I won't be found without this stuff when I'm playing. Definitely a market leader.

Just the best trombone lube.
I have used slide-o-mix for over 10 years now and would be very hesitant to try any other lubricant. It keeps your slide super slidey and keeps your bone in tip top condition.
This two-part mix is so much better than the one bottle 'Rapid Comfort', and allows you to get the consistency just right. Although I do keep a bottle of Rapid Comfort handy when I'm on stage, it works best in conjunction with this stuff.

Was gibt es dazu noch zu sagen?
Das ist einfach ein Spitzenprodukt, dazu gibt es nicht mehr viel zu sagen. Ich verwende es seit vielen Jahren und bin jedes Mal begeistert. Gut zu dosieren, haelt laenge, einfach Spitze.
