No obvious room for improvement
I am a beginner (playing for 3 months) at trumpeting and this was my first experience of changing mouthpieces. I liked this one, it's measurably different to the piece which came with my horn but less extreme than the 1C. I would say that it is easier to change from one tone to another and gives a brighter sound compared than I am used to, whilst still cutting out some of the ultra high tones. Money well spent, I think.

Play and feel just like the big brands
I bought this mouthpiece to see if it feels and plays like the "big brand" equivalent, and it didn't disappoint me at all. When heavy weigh, sound enhancer and various "new age" designs are the norms, Arnolds & Sons 3C trumpet mouthpiece gives me the reliable, consistent "old school" feel of a workhorse mouthpiece, for only a fraction of the price.
I would love to see mouthpieces with more variety to be released by this company.

As good as every other mouthpiece
I play the trumpet for 5 years, and bought this mouthpiece for my new trumpet. I wasn't willing to pay 5 times as much for a similar mouthpiece from a different brand, because they all sell essentially the same product. I do need to say that scratches in the mouthpiece are easily visible but, that is only a visual impact.

Incredible mouthpiece for a slither of competitors price. Have used in many major orchestras in UK. Super comfortable and even use it for Piccolo Trumpet!

Excellent
Ideal for amateur trumpeters who can buy several mouthpieces to try out, for the price of one of a well-known brand. Excellent service from Thomann, as usual.

Great mouthpiece
The mouthpiece is well made and has smooth finishing. Feels great to put lips on it, the smooth rim really makes a big difference. I upgraded from a 7C to 3C, and I found reaching higher notes with this mouthpiece was easier!
