Firm and solid
Stand feels really firm and solid - especially considering what you pay for it. I was actually really surprised how well it's made and how well it feels. Like some other people mentioned height is adjustable and locked using screw and big nut but you can use only nut and it's gonna mostly be fine unless you have super heavy mic. It means that height can be in most cases adjusted without any tools. Which is nice.
Stand is quite heavy and stable in most cases but if you use heavy mic on big shock mount with pop filter it may be tilted quite easily when you accidentally bump it - especially if it's put on something softer than table like bed or soft carpet. Luckily legs lie quite "flat" (wide angle) so it's easy to put some counterweight on one of legs like book. I had no problem with recording even on soft bed using book as counterweight.
pros:
- cheap
- firm, sturdy solid
- looks really nice, doesn't look cheap at all.
cons:
- tool-less adjustment is not-so-strong and in some cases you may need screwdriver and use that additional screw.
- legs could be just a bit longer to better support heavier shock mounts and pop filters.

Ok for its price
Pros:
* metal legs and rod, feels sturdy
* price is unbeatable
Cons:
* a big one for me - it can't be rotated. It's only stable when screwed very tightly which means the legs are in fixed position and you can't rotate them an inch. Also unscrews very easily.
* clamp is very hard plastic, my Rode M3 almost did not fit in, so I replaced it with my original clamp
In general, you probably won't find better for this price, but I was quite annoyed before I got used to it.

Like a Weeble, it may wobble but it won't fall down.
Well I've had a few weeks of usage with this weighty little mic stand which I've used to record my guitar amp as I can set it to the perfect height, it would also be great for mic'ing up a bass drum or using it as a table stand for podcasts so it's quite a versatile bit of kit. It has a surprising weight to it making it quite sturdy and with the legs being adjustable it can be set up on uneven surfaces. The only negative that I've encountered is that one of the legs needed tightening up as it became loose but the application of an Hex Key soon sorted that out. I'd certainly recommend this as a versatile, well designed, sturdy Mic stand at a very competitive price.

Nice budget stand
Bought as a compact portable stand for an RTA mic.
The product is sturdy and the base weight make it really stable, the legs screws though are a bit flimsy and need thightening every once a while, I've also found the elevation locking screw to be a little fleeble under heavy loads but for the price the unit remains one of the best avaiable especially for the really small footprint when folded

Compact, robust and stable.
This stand is quite sturdy, the legs are metal and it is very stable and it has a reassuring weight to it. The shaft has a groove in it which prevents it from turning and allows only a vertical adjustment. The case may be that you want to get the mic right up close to an amp and because of the way the mic holder faces when it's fully screwed on, you may find that a leg is preventing you from getting as close as you'd like. If you slacken the mic holder then it may move. The solution I found was to insert a small piece pencil eraser into the mic holder before screwing it on... adjust eraser length to find what works best. All in all it's well designed and compact, and for the price and the quality, I really like it.

Very robust
An excellent desk stand. I was a bit worried because, in the pictures, it looks flimsy, but once you get the thing, you see it's solid and firm. It held my Rode podmic like it's no big deal. Very recommended if you have little space.
