It?s ok
It?s fine. Works well. Although after several months I have started to have some issues with the mute knob, I had to give small taps on the top of the knob to make the sound balanced between both speakers, otherwise I would listen more from one speaker then the other.

Really great addition
I have a tiny little studio setup in my shed. I've got a lot of experience in studio's having walked into my 1st session (bass) in 1987 as a 17 yr old and gone on from there.
35 yrs later I'm still doing it as a job, which is nice.
This is a really nice solid piece of kit for stuff all money that helps a bunch in a home studio setting
It's passive and adds no colour to the sound. The dial is big and easy to use. I use the mono switch the most when mixing (mixing in mono initially then fine tune from there a good old skool approach that still works well.)
Pros - works, cheap, simple.
Cons- No a/b for different speaker sets when checking a mix on little commercial/home/car speakers as opposed to studio quality flat speakers ( but you can get that on other models from the same company, so not really).
Great kit for home/ semi pro use. For people who love not doing everything with a mouse.

Makes mixing so much easier
Give control of speakers too your finger tips... no more having to reach around the back of speakers..

Convenient, no nonsense
No change in the character of the sound throughout the range of volumes. Works without fault, I find it very convenient.

Good for connectivity
It would be nice if it had a headphones connector

control of your monitors
This was exactly what i needed for my adam t7v's. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, control the volume of your monitors without having to manually djust it on the monitors. in my case it was absolutly needed as the t7v's don't have a notched volumecontrol and once you set them you really don't want to touch them again.Dlivery from thomann was quick and everything arrived well packaged. Works flawlessly and you don;t even know it is there in the signal chain...... the way any well made piece of studio gear should work.

Not that great
The first month it's been good, after that the mono button had problems and when I was getting back from mono to stereo the sound was coming out from only one speaker.
After that even the mute button begun to fail.
I'm sure I've been unlucky with the thing and I'm sure other M-Controls work perfectly but after that experience I'm quite biased with Swissonic products.

Simple.
Very straightforward design with sturdy casing. The Mute and Mono buttons seem a bit weak, but all else is great. Smooth main button, and I like the aesthetic of it in general.

Good overall quality, but.....
Good overall quality, no popping sound and compact metal casing. The only negative I could find is the buttons. After a day's use, they did pop out and they feel flimsy.
No deal breaker for me...
