Very sturdy, maybe not elegant enough.
I use the stand at home without ever taking it with me somewhere.
Every part of the stand is solid, nothing is wobbely or feels like i'm afraid to break it. The foot board is very thick, just like the kick pedals Tama provides.
I have no problem playing fast or clear with it, but it feels like a bit more work because of it's sturdyness.
This is nitpicking however because I've never felt like I wanted another pedal.
Very happy with my purchase.

THE BEST Hi-Hat stand you can get.
I went for Tama hardware, having previously purchased hardware from them and had positive experiences, and I was not disappointed.
The Iron Cobra range has held a strong reputation for a long time, and it is extremely easy to see why.
The hi-hat stand is extremely sturdy, with impeccable design and premium build quality.
The clutch has yet to slip or fail me, and space has been thought about as well since packing the stand away is done very quickly and into a compact size, no larger than a regular boom cymbal stand.
The pedal action is brilliant, I personally found that it was perfect out of the box, but it is adjustable for other players too. You achieve a very crisp hi-hat sound from every foot motion with ease, it is a very pleasant pedal to play with.
I could not be happier with this purchase, and it certainly is worth the money. I would not spend any more, as for me, this product is perfect.

Tama 600 quality
Very durable and heavy, stable and very controllable, a bit on the expensive side but worth it in the long run, I think this will be a hihat stand to last decades

Very happy!
Very solid, very fast response, very stable, not a bad price.
The legs are quite chunky and it's quite heavy, the only downsides, but it feels really solid. I imagine better quality sets might feel just as stable whilst a bit less chunky, but no problems, coz I don't gig my kit, so it's always in place.
Great, very happy.

Excellent hihat stand
This is another of Tama's excellent hardware examples. This hihat is sturdy, doesn't move at all during performance, is easy to adjust and has an option to store the small rod inside the tube of the hihat when packing up.

Very good hihat stand
I started out with a Mapex Tormado kit, which is a great starter kit, with average (at best) hardware.
My plan was to update the hardware stand by stand. I could continue to learn using my existing shells and then upgrade the shells when ready.
This difference between this HH stand and the one I was using is night and day.
This is solid and heavy, it won't move or wobble around. The clutch stays in place and doesn't drift after 10 minutes.
Pedal has a great solid feel. Movement is positive - it doesn't bounce unpredictably.
It's a great stand.

Best stand for the money
This tama stand is the bomb. I always heard tama made great hardware but when I finally bought it my life changed. It's very sturdy and robust, haven't found a complain.
