8 channel multicore at this price?
I bought this multicore to make life easier when mic'ing my drums on stage, a few shorter leads into a long multicore seemed like a good idea. I was right!
I would love to know how Thomann can produce these at this price, I can't even get all the plugs for this money, at least not ones of the same quality! The plugs are solid, giving a very reassuring click as you plug them in, you'll never pull one of these out by accident.
I also use this cable when recording live bands so it was important that there was no cross talk between the cores. I've run many tests running hot signals and low signals through at the same time, I can detect nothing. There is zero bleed or interference on any of the cores, even when running parallel to mains cables, the shielding is astounding!
The markings as to which plug is which can be a little difficult to see in the dark but you can't have everything! Some coloured coding rings would make life easier but that's the kind of thing that starts to put the price up.
I had seen other reviews stating that some of the soldering was quite poor in places, I was all set to sort out any issues, but I didn't find any. Every joint is perfectly fine with no excess copper that could lead to a short circuit.
The only negative thing I could say is that the lead is quite chunky, it can be a real pain to coil back up, but I'd rather do it once with this lead than do 8 leads any day of the week.
Another great product from Thomann!

Cheap but decent
Make sure to test the snake with a cable tester (e.g. behringer ct200). I've ordered 3 snakes and 1 had a fault at cable 7. I resoldered it and it tests positive on the cable tester now. You don't want to arrive at a gig with a single cable not working. :P

Another great snake from Thomann
Great snake, I use it to mic up our drums. Clear numbers on both ends of the cable makes it easy to know what goes where. I use additional cables on the "loose" ends to mic up the rest of the drum set, but the kick mic is connected directly to the cable on the snake.
For this price there is not much to nitpick... Sound is pretty decent.
A snake with a box in one end would probably look even tidier, but in stead of having 8 single cables running to the mixer, it is all in one large cable. and a box would add to the cost.

Sometimes this is just what you need..
Everybody needs a snake from time to time. This has come in so handy for school stage productions where I am often nearby with my mixer, but don't want to run a bunch of mic cables, particularly when there will be school children trampling over them.
The connector ends as opposed to a box also comes in useful for DI boxes, removing the need for extra cables.

Muy buen producto
Buena calidad y resistencia.

Works as advertised
I have one of these snakes installed in my studio. I use it to extend the length of another snake that connects some of the soundcard outputs to the headphone amps for quite monitoring during live takes.
It's been working over one year without a single issue. Sure: once the cable is laid, it doesn't get moved around a lot. However, there have been people walking over it and even stomping over it, and there's been undue traction straining the connectors on one end. All these small accidents haven't done the product any harm.
The labelling is effective and helps a lot in keeping things organized. Colour coding could be a plus especially in live situations where you have little help, but it's not really important if you are using it as I am. Actually, I haven't had to trust one of these snakes with live performance yet, since I don't do PA. However, if I had a gig where for any reason I need to supply the cables, I would be confident enough to give this snake a try in a more demanding setting.

Good bang for buck
Seems like it wont last harsh conditions or years of touring but at this price the quality really is more than you could reasonably expect!

Great gear for great value
It just does the job. Cable and connectors build quality exceeds the expectation in this price category.
