Gets the job done. The fact that they come in different colours is very helpful in keeping track of what goes where and the different length options available all are consistent in colour making it easy to have a system, regardless of the distance between gear.
My one gripe is that I wish they came in 8-packs, with an additional 2 colours. A lot of my gear, like my interface, ADAT expansion unit and mixer, have 8 channels, meaning I have to be a bit inconsistent with what colour maps to which "number".
Another thing is the fact that the colours do not match those of the sssnake TRS patch cables - I would like to match the channel number of where an XLR cable connects to the corresponding colour on the out channel. The exact shade of colour is not the issue but rather the colour itself; I can't recall the exact difference at the time of writing but if I recall correctly the TRS has one bright blue cable while the XLR is a very dark purple, almost black (also making it hard to distinguish from the black cable in poorly lit conditions).
The quality is okay, about what you would expect at this price point.

S
Great value!
SoulWorks 26.09.2019
It's very useful to have some shorter XLR cables of various lengths. We use several of these 0.6m XLR cables (plus some 0.3m XLR cables) inside a rackcase. The cables are robust and the connectors make good sturdy reliable connections.
I had to put right-angle connectors on some of our cables (so that the rackcase covers would go on). The wiring inside this product was good quality and very easy to solder.
Very satistfied with this great value product!!

Simple and Effective XLR Patch Cable Set with Solid Construction (0.6m)
Leopoldo Lopes 25.04.2023
The sssnake XLR Patchcable 0,6 is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and well-constructed patch cable set. These cables are simple and effective, with a solid construction that ensures durability and long-lasting performance.

Like the 0.3m version, these cables are straightforward to use, with no unnecessary features or complications. The connectors are well-made, making a secure connection that ensures that there's no signal loss or interference.

One of the things I appreciate about these cables is their length. At 0.6m, they're long enough to be useful in a variety of applications but short enough to keep your setup tidy and organized.

Overall, I highly recommend the sssnake XLR Patchcable 0,6 to anyone looking for a simple and effective patch cable set with solid construction. They're a great investment that will serve you well in a variety of audio applications.

A
OK for the price

Really you can't buy the pugs and cable and make these yourself for much cheaper that buying these, as I bought these out of laziness as to not make my own. The pins on a few plugs were out of line, due to the little round plate they are attached to being able to rotate. Once I realized this, I was able to plug them in and lock.

But based on the price, I cannot complain on this quality aspect. The cables I bought are permanently plugged in the back of a rack in a patchbay and having worked in many live situations with XLR plugs and cables, I would guess that in heavy use these would not last long, but for heavy use I would buy something a little more robust.

But at little over 2¤ per cable, if it breaks, throw it and buy some more. Great for price if they don't move once installed, otherwise spend a few cents more on something you can rely on if you are intending to plug in and out a lot.
