Not bad for the money.

I purchased this trumpet as I didn’t have a D trumpet and wanted to blow through some baroque repertoire.

The trumpet seems to be well made with no lacquer blemishes. The tuning is what I expected, I need to use alternative fingering for E’s and Eb’s.
On the whole I think this trumpet is a good starting point for a first D trumpet.

Erstaunlich gut

Ich benutze die Trompete im Blechbläserensemble, mit der Orgel sowie als Soloinstrument (Haydn).


Das Instrument stimmt in Es und in D erstaunlich gut. Die Ansprache ist prima und der Sound ist sehr schön und kann durch Auswahl des Mundstückes auch gut beeinflusst werden. Als D Trompete mischt sich das Instrument gut mit hohen Piccolotrompeten. Generell ist der Sound eher hell- im Sinfonieorchester würde ich sie zu besonderen Gelegenheiten einsetzen.

Nicht gefallen tut mir das enge Mundrohr, Mundstücke lassen sich nicht so tief einstecken wie bei anderen Trompeten - aber stören tut es nicht, bisher klappt es gut.
