Excellent gigbag for the price
I have only been playing the mandolin for a short time and so I can only compare this case with my other cases which are for bass guitars. However, it compares well, and considering the price, is a good purchase.
The case is light and but well padded. However careful you are, things take knocks, getting in and out of cars and going through doors, but don't have concerns about my instrument in this case.
It does what you want it to do. My mandolin fits in snugly and feels like it is held firmly. The pocket is smallish but holds the essentials. The carrying handle balances the case well and the shoulder straps, although thin are comfortable enough as mandolins are so light. A purchase that I am pretty pleased with.

Decent bag at an amazing price
I got this bag as part of a package deal with my Harley Benton HBMA50 mandolin. For the price it was an irresistible deal.
Pros: The bag itself is well stitched and of good quality.
It is suitable for keeping the instrument in for storage at home and protects the instrument from dust as well as minor bumps or scratched.
The small pouch on the front is useful for keeping extra mandolin strings in. Since it is a flat pouch not much else fits in there.
The straps and carry handle enable the bag to be carried on one’s back.
It would be suitable for transporting an instrument in a car or on public transport but it is definitely not padded enough for flying or any other transport where a lot of impact would be involved.
Cons: It could have had a bit more padding but I imagine that would have increased the price substantially.
In conclusion it’s a good bag for the price, particularly for storing a budget mandolin in.

Great quality for next to nothing!
I recently bought myself a Harley Benton HBMA-50E electric mandolin on a bit of a whim. When it arrived however I quickly fell in love with it and couldn't stand the thought of it getting knocked about while travelling with me. Having made a few purchases from Thomann and always being thrilled with the quality of their products and the excellence of their service I sent for one of these. Once again, Thomann hit the spot. This is a very well made gigbag which is amazing value for money and I recommend it whole heartedly.

Very good mandolin case
This is very good mandolin gig bag even in comparison with the gig bags for double de price. It si very confortable to carry and my old Strunal A style mandoline is well protected, even though it is little bit smaller. Its accessory compartment is large enough to put essentials like tuner, set of strings, foot stand and I even succeeded to put iPad in a Logitech keyboard case in it.

Another amazing product from Thomann
Fantastic little gigbag for the Harley Benton banjolele I bought from Thomann. The banjolele description page pointed me to this gigbag and it’s ideal for the instrument. Customer Service was again faultless and the item was delivered quickly and safely. Can’t fault Thomann for their products or service. Thanks guys! Will be back soon, in fact I’m considering the banjolele’s big brother and looking at the 5 string Harley Benton Pro!

Gigbag to help YOU care for your mandolin
Some gigbags can be as good as hard cases.
This on is not - BUT it is inexpensive and is perfect for protecting the finish of your instrument, keeping dust off the instrument when not in use and for YOU carrying and caring for your instrument.
I purchased this with a HBMA-50 and would 100% recommend this pairing every time.

Very good mandolin bag for decent price!
I ordered my first real mandolin this year from Thomann and I thought that I should get some cover and protection for the instrument. I decided to take this Thomann mandolin gigbag eco and I didn´t have to regret because it is just the right size and it has even backpack strips so you can either carry it with hand or put it on your back. The zippers are quite good quality what I can tell. There is a big side compartment in the front with zipper where you can store your accessories. The bag feels good quality but I am not sure if it is waterproof, I guess not...

Does the job_Keeps it safe
I bought this to protect my Harley Benton HBMA-50E Mandolin at home, and it does the job. I have rated it 3 for quality as i have only had it a short while, so can't really comment about how hard wearing it will be.
Like i say the bag is mainly to protect the instrument at home. I plan on doing only occasional open mic nights with it. If i were doing lots of gigs i would get something a lot stronger. Small compartment at the front can hold a tuner, folded papers, plectrums and a capo.....
For the price i hope it will turn out to be good value, and lasts me as long as the 3 year guarantee......

Really big
Bought this for my concert banjo-ukelele and was surprised by the bag's size (really big, though not to the point of being a problem). Good quality, also.

Perfectly good
Bought it for a Harley Benton mandolin, it fits well; decently thick padding, seems solid, adjustable straps and a handle are easy and comfortable, front pocket quite flat but enough for spare strings, tuner etc., nothing fancy but it looks fine and gets the job done - overall good.
