Fantastic feel for orchestral playing

These sticks are thin and light. They are ideal for orchestral playing. I've used them in chamber orchestra works too; they allow the drum to speak clearly without overplaying.

The sticks are very well made and have a nice feel. Playing quietly is very easy with these. They can also project well, particularly on smaller wood drums like 14x4s or 14x5.5s. Great for private practice too.

Would recommend these sticks for most concert situations.

Questo secondo modello di Ted Atkatz per Vic Firth mi è piaciuto tanto! Sono bacchette abbastanza corte (paragonabili alle Rohema Concert General A e leggermente più lunghe delle SD2 Bolero), ma il peso é importante: infatti pesano quasi quanto le SCS1 che hanno una lunghezza nettamente diversa! Questo peso però ti permette di avere grande controllo della bacchetta, soprattutto nelle dinamiche basse. La bacchetta è in laminated birch (betulla) con la punta in nylon che crea un suono abbastanza scuro, ma sempre preciso e articolato. Da felice possessore delle Ted Atkatz I posso dire che questo secondo modello completa il pacchetto: il primo modello lungo, spesso e pesante con una grande punta per grandi dinamiche e grande corpo al suono, il secondo modello corto ma pesante, con una piccola punta per avere controllo e chiarezza nelle dinamiche dal mp al ppp. Forse il costo è un po' alto, ma consiglio vivamente entrambi i modelli creati da Ted!
