Das erste was mir bei diesem Kornett aufgefallen ist, ist die wirklich leichte Ansprache, das macht es viel einfacher, dieses Instrument zu spielen. Es ist auch sehr leicht. Der Klang ist leicht und hell, bis mittlere Lautstärke auch weich, bei lauten Passagen wird er leicht schneidend, das passt in der Brass-Band aber auch gut.
Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Die Intonation ist auch gut, man muss sich ein bisschen daran gewöhnen, ist aber nach den ersten Minuten kein Thema. Die Ansprache ist immer sehr schnell und leicht und direkt und der Ton damit leicht beeinflussbar.
