If you cut a hole in your bass drum head, use this!! It saved my head a few times already. A few years back I didn't see the use of this and I ended up with a torn bass drum head due to a kick mic falling over.
This is an easy to install solution in combination with the Bass Drum O's Cutter.

Better safe then sorry!!

Protects your port from ripping if there are any rough edges on your port cut. Gives a smooth edge and finishes of the look nicely.

Note: back mounting ring tends to pop off inside the shell but should not interfere with the stability of the O

You need to apply pressure with a tool not your hands! I did it first with my hands and it nearly came off after all the movement of the bass head. Just to be on the safe side the second time i applied some glue and i pushed with a screwdriver. Rock solid ever since.

Easy to fit but be careful cutting your hole to make it a fraction bigger as mentioned on here before... It did take a bit of physical effort to make the two side s "click" together so make sure you do this properly otherwise will pop out one day!
