Daddario Strings
Ordered this strings as one of xmas presents for my boyfriend. He plays
Yamaha FG830 and always uses these strings, he loves them. Daddario EJ26 are pretty longlasting - 1 month of playability and nice sound are ensured, sure when you play something about 2 hours a day, not 8.
These strings are good enough to play Folk, Blues and similar music.
We use condeser microphone for recording and the result is great.
So, to sum up my review here are some pros and cons:
pros:
1) great, rich bronze sound
2) pretty longlasting
3) reliable (never got a broken string)
4) easy to set up and hard to confuse, strings are color coded
cons:
1) at the beginning they sound metallic and a little time must pass
to get the right sound
2) not the cheapest ones
Pros cover cons and make Daddario EJ26 strings one of the best acoustic strings. Sure there are more options, some of them are better, but their price are nearly 2 times higher. These strings have
great Price/Quality ratio.
Cheers and have fun playing msic.

Great for fingerpicking
I put this on my Cort dreadnought because I only use it for fingerpicking. The strings are of a great quality and they sound good for months. They still sound warm even it's only 0.11 on the E string.

Pour tous les jours
Mon jeu de corde standard passe partout... ne dure pas des lustres mais ça ce n'est pas un critère sur la qualité du son.

A solid choise.
Very good strings, might actually stick with those for my accoustic guitar.

Quite good acoustic strings
I tried alot of different string sets for my acoustic guitar:
Elixir, Dunlop, Rotosound, other Daddario sets.
Actually I'm not satisfied with this set also, but this is one of those sets I get back to, because I didn't found anything better. At the moment I use it on my Yamaha FG830. Fits pretty good, yet there's lack of something in tone, like it is not that rich. Still I didn't found anything better, so right now
I'll stick to Daddario EJ26.
I never broke strings on my guitar, though I play in different styles, and this string set is not an exception. Also long lasting doesn't matter for me, I play quite often and change strings every month, regardless capabilities of strings. Also don't forget about issue of new strings to sound too metallic, it wears after couple of hours.
Get this strings if you need light blues and jazz sound,
or you're singing and playing some acoustic songs.
