My favourite mini-amp
Stylish and good sounding, this mini-amp by Danelectro is NOT just a toy, but it can be used both for low volume private practice, and especially for studio recording, as it has a very specific sound - not too plasticky, and not too "broken transistor radio" like, it actually has some lows (or low mids) & body, and doesn't attempt distortion as many other mini amps do, mostly failing miserably, but it delivers a spanking, defined clean tone.
Keep the amp & speaker size in mind, of course, this is no regular amp and no substitute for a "real" amp, but in its range it is really good.
Best fed from a good PSU!
The only negatives are the chrome-ish knobs which could be smoother & less toy-like, and the position of the input jack, which can tip this tiny guy over if the cable & jack used are more massive, or let alone if you move around.

Fun thing!
1. it's seafoam green
2. it does make a sound
3. you can carry it on your belt!!
4. it's battery powered, so you can carry this seafoam green sound making beauty on your belt in a park!!!
I also made a speaker output jack in it and use it with 112 cab, and it sounds like 12 times bigger.
Only cons are that it does not djent quite well and playing bass through it is not very sufficient.

Take it with you
Comes with 9v battery already in, the bass in the sound is non existing just like in every other micro amp however the overdrive sounds are pretty vintage sounding. Doesn't weight a ton and looks cool!

Fun to Play, Simple to set up
It's what you expect for the price. Good sound, super portable. Works really nice on a small room for practicing by yourself, when you're travelling and want to play. For some overdriven / pedals use it works better with headphones.

There was a problem with the amp even its powered with a battery seems if I play the guitar loud the amp cuts out more, works pegect plugged in with an adaptor but kinda defeats the purpose of it being portable

This is a really great choice for anyone who wants to move around with a guitar.
It is extremely small but so good as it comes to quality and it actually sounds loud enough.
I guess the name honeytone fits exactly with the description.
