This is the best neck pick up which I ever heard! I use it in my Charvel So-Cal guitar which has alder body and maple neck (also maple fretboard) and works really great ! Rich harmonics, lot of sustain and fat tone !

La he instalado en una LTD-TE 200 con la posibilidad de cambiarla a split coil y me parece fantástico su sonido en cualquier configuración. No soy especialista en pastillas, pero hasta ahora yo no era mucho de tocar con la del mástil y estoy tirando de ella como nunca. Por el precio, da unas posibilidades que me suenan bien en cualquier circunstancia.

Natürlich sind die Pickups wie bei DImarzio üblich top verarbeitet - ich hatte mittlerweile 4 verschiedene Sets und die waren alle super.

Neben den Evolutions ist auch der D Activator sofort durchgefallen (letzteren habe ich auch noch bewertet). - Sehr empfehlen kann ich den Titan oder den Gravity Storm.

Aber zurück zum Thema Dimarzio Evolution:
Ich habe neben dem Neck Humbucker auch noch den passenden Bridgen Humbucker in meine Chapman ML 2 eingebaut Das Ergebnis war furchtbar. Der Sound war sehr verwaschen und für Metal Riffs (C-Drop) meiner Meinung nach gar nicht zu gebrauchen.
Immerhin produzierten die Pickups kaum Störgeräusche. Der Sound war nur lange nicht so definiert, wie ich es nach langer online Recherche erwartet hätte und daher habe ich sie nach 2 Proben wieder ausgebaut und weiter verkauft.

Für definierte Sounds mit Palm Mutes und schnellen Riffs unbrauchbar, für die vintage Fraktion sicher interessant.
Bei mir ist er allerdings durhcgefallen :-(
