Evans Tri Centre Bongo Heads

I got these as replacements for my cowhide heads, one of which had split, on my LP bongos. The new heads are excellent and represent excellent value compared to new cowhide ones. As always, Thomann delivered very shortly after the order.

Well sounding head

I was very happy with the replacement, it was very easy to get the sound I want.
Unfortunately, I left my bongos in the dusty room over a night and a day after I found a scratch on the surface, so you should really take care and cover the heads when not used.

Muy buen sonido para un parche sintético

He colocado solo el del macho y la verdad me ha sorprendido el sonido suave y cálido que produce. Se acerca bastante al del cuero. Lo mejor es la durabilidad que tienen estos parches sintéticos que se pueden usar durante años sin necesidad de cambiarlos. La terminación es muy limpia y lisa aunque es satinado con lo cual el roce con la piel de la mano no produce chillidos. Para un uso intensivo y evitar el coste de sustitución del cuero real es muy recomendable. Para una compra excelente. El parche hembra lo reservo para un imprevisto ya que el cuero de la hembra resiste mucho más el uso a largo plazo.
