I own 3 Mono M80 bags, and when I needed another bag I've decided to try Gewa out of curiosity and because I like its design more. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised!

Materials feel top notch with the exception of bottom protection that is made out of foam-like material, where Mono uses rubber. However, that material is lightweight, so if it is also durable, then it might be even better. Time will tell.
All locks and zippers are nice and solid. I think Gewa's zipper handles are plastic (maybe with some metal), while Mono uses metal. However belt attachment is from metal at Gewa, where Mono uses plastic. Both companies use great materials.
Top handle is big and soft, feels very comfortable to use it. Belt is nice, but I like Mono's belt a bit more (Mono has integrated gel for padding, while Gewa has movable padding patch).
Backpack straps are comfortable, but I wish padding extends a bit further (longer) - if I increase strap length, then my shoulders are almost at the end of padding. Being able to hide straps in a special compartment with zippers is a neat feature, however I'm a bit in doubt about zipper positions: when straps are out, two zippers end up at the top between the straps, and I'm afraid that they might encounter some stress and fail in the long run. Mono has a bit more elegant solution for hiding straps, that can also be used for laptop storage. Strap compartment of Gewa is less comfortable for storage due to lack of padding (you feel it with your back).

Now to the cymbal compartments!
Main compartment has a creative magnet lock. Despite my initial skepticism, it works really well. It took me 5 minutes to get used to it, and after that using it feels natural (and it's fast!).
Thomann writes in the description that the bag has 3 cymbal compartments ("A = 22" cymbal / B = 16" cymbal / C = 14" cymbal"), while my bag had only two (plus compartment for accessories). This doesn't bother me, but double check it with Thomann if you really care.
There are 3 separators inside the main compartment. My biggest cymbal is 20 inch ride, but I'm confident 22 inch will fit as advertised. Padding is thick and stiff, so it feels like semi-hard case.
Hi-hat compartment has one separator. I use it with 14 inch Hi-Hats. I think 15 inch will fit as well, but I'm almost sure that 16 inch wouldn't.
Materials inside cymbal compartments are nice and soft - I would easily entrust my cymbals to it.
Accessory compartment is large in diameter, but feels tight - I would appreciate few millimeters of extra depth.

Despite some of my critics, it's the highest quality bag: materials are great and it has few neat features. I think it's at the same level of quality as Mono cymbal bag, but cheaper. Highly recommended!

B
The only cymbalbag I'll ever need.

The outside is really tough. It will protect your cymbals perfectly.
The front compartment has 2 slots that fit 15" cymbals. Comes in handy if you're using bigger hihats.
The main compartment fits 4 22" cymbals.
The dividers are made of thick, soft fabric that will protect your cymbals (and even make them shine while moving).
The only issue I can see is that the dividers don't go all the way down to the bottom, so the cymbals touch each other on the bottom. This might scratch your shiny cymbals. But after 4 months of use this has not yet occured to me.
The backpack straps make it perfect for the road. I even wear it on the bike.
The handle at the top is really sturdy. The magnetic strap easily locks the handle part. The red strip lets you open the handle part without any finicking.

It's fine

You can feel quality in the material and overall the bag is very decent. But the bottom bent slightly after being in the trunk of a car with all the other instruments and stuff. This only affects the asthetics, so nothing major, but still not very good for a bag of this class. Other than that, very decent, especially the backpack function is superb!

V
Great cymbal backpack
Vicarious1 19.05.2018
This is a very well made cymbal bag.
Although it is not a hardcase, the SPS series have a really sturdy feel to them.

The SPS cymbal bag comes in two versions, a regular and a backpack version, which is around 20 euros more expensive.
I own both of them, and I prefer the backpack version, because carrying heavy cymbals is so much better when you carry your back like a backpack. So, if you can spend extra 20 euros, it's worth.

Gewa SPS Cymbal Bag 22" Backpack
Amitmeat 18.04.2019
Great product, very durable and well manufactured,
Good separation between cymbals folders, also inside the HH section.
Only disadvantage I found, is lack of backpack straps - must carry on one shoulder or by the Carrying handle.

G
Gewa SPS Cymbal Bag 22" Backpack
George424 07.08.2013
I searched all cymbal bags from protection racket to ahead to reunion blues and this Gewa bag beats them all. The hybrid design with fiberglass surroundings for the bag is excellent. The plush interior is the classiest I have seen and it is protective without being too bulky. I use one or two 22 inch rides, 2 16 inch crashes and 14 hi hats so the compartment configuration is perfect and all compartments are plush lined. The backpack straps are hidable and strong when set up. The zippers are heavy duty and the bottom and sides of the bag are very protected for a cymbal bag. Best cymbal bag I have see, and I ordered this and paid the shipping to the USA, so u know I wanted it and it did not disappoint.
