Change of Sound

Good way of getting a different sound from your snare. In my case a wood shell. Like die cast hoops wood hoops are not flexible so I feel its important to make sure drum shell is true I.E (flat and without indents)
Also worth noting that if putting a wood hoop on snare side you should check that your snare stand basket can accommodate it as it will have a wider diameter than metal.

Si vous cherchez un cercle en bois, allez y les yeux fermés, superbe fabrication et finition. Attention, si vous utilisez des housses pour votre caisse claire, ce cercle va augmenter le diamètre de la caisse claire et peut ne pas rentrer ensuite dans toutes les housses.

Hier gilt im Positiven, was ich bereits zu dem Batter Side Wood Hoop geschrieben habe.

Zu bedenken ist hier u.U. dass der Wood Hoop etwas dicker aufträgt, als ein Spannreifen aus Metall. Wenn der Snare-Ständer nur bis 14" aufnehmen kann, könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass es knapp werden kann. Bei meinem Snare-Ständer bis 15" gab es kein Problem.
